Innovation and Opportunity . . . at water's edge

Newburyport's Dexter Industrial Green was listed in the Top 10 of Massachusetts industrial parks by Boston Business Journal (June 29, 2007).  According to the list, the Dexter Green, with over 2,000,000 square feet of industrial building space, includes more industrial space than any other park in northeastern Massachusetts.

Newburyport offers its Emerging Futures Fund Program or EFF to promote economic growth in the City.  The EFF povides grants for projects that bring economic value to Newburyport. In 2007, the City made a $10,000 EFF award to The Waterfront Trust.  The Trust will use the funds to study and propose possible improvements to the Newburyport Commercial Fishermans' Pier.  While the 2007 deadline has passed for applications, Newburyport is pleased with the results of the Program and invites you to check back early in 2008 to learn about EFF, Round 2.
